The club are delighted to announce that Taylor Scarff has signed a contract extension with the Yellows!

The 24-year-old centre-back joined on a free transfer from Tavistock FC last summer and has formed a formidable partnership at the back with Shane White.

Speaking on his extension which will see the defender remain at Bolitho until the end of the 2025/26 season, Scarff said: “I’m buzzing to have signed a new contract extension.”

“This season has been tough at times, but it’s been a season of learning and I feel like I am playing the best football of my career – I’m proud to call Bolitho my home.

“My centre-back partnership with Shane is one that I am proud of. It’s been a pleasure to play alongside someone with so much experience and I’ve learnt a lot from him on and off the pitch. He’s superb!”

Speaking on securing Scarff’s services for another year, Parkway boss Chris McPhee said: “Taylor, one of my first signings this summer, has made a big impact for us at the heart of our defence and become a fans favourite due to his full blooded, all action defending style.”

“He attacks the ball solidly, tackles firmly and cleverly covers in behind the back line.

“He has improved with the ball this season through the way we look to play, and his consistency levels have been a credit to his motivation and determination to be the best he can be.

“We are delighted to announce Taylor has extended his contract through to the end of next season.”

Adding to McPhee’s praises, the board said: “Taylor has done brilliantly this season, and we are delighted as a club to have agreed a contract extension with him.”

“Taylor has become a real leader on the pitch and his hard work, commitment to getting results, and adding goals to the team are all reasons why we needed to make sure we extended Taylor’s contract with the club.
