Plymouth Parkway Youth are looking for an individual to take on the role as the Youth Teams welfare officer ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Plymouth Parkway’s Youth setup has enjoyed continued success over the past few seasons and this role is a vital part within the organisation.
The Key Roles of a welfare officer:
Responsibilities- Welfare officers must:
- Be clear about the club’s/league’s responsibilities when running activities for children and young people.
- Help club/league personnel to recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and to actively play their part.
To become a club welfare officer, you will need to:
- Attend the FA Safeguarding Children and Welfare Officer Workshops. Click here for more information.
- Have an in-date FA Accepted Enhanced with Children’s Barring List Check.
