Plymouth Parkway begin their long run of home fixtures by welcoming Isthmian League side Chichester City to Bolitho Park this weekend in the FA Trophy.

The Yellows are returning home after a tough test against Dorchester Town, where they ended up losing 1-0 with Shaquille Gwengwe scoring the winner. Parkway had some small chances here and there, but all-in-all couldn’t find any good opportunities through the opposition’s defence. Plymouth currently sit 21st in the league table with one win and six points, but they will need to put this aside and focus on progressing deeper into the FA Trophy on Saturday.

Chichester City have started to struggle recently, with their two most recent games resulting in 2-1 losses against Bowers & Pitsea and Cray Valley Paper Mills and have only kept one clean sheet in their last five, so Parkway could look to jump on this opportunity and knock them out of the competition in what could be a high scoring game.

The opposition comfortably sit in 11th place in their league, where they have accumulated 14 points in eleven games played. They will be looking to get back on form though, so the Yellows need to be ready for everything in this fixture, and as we know, cup games are always a good watch, and anything can happen.

Can Plymouth keep their cup dreams alive?
