For the final match before Christmas, Parkway are taking on an in-form Gloucester City at Bolitho Park on Saturday and are unfortunately coming off a 2-1 loss against Sholing, which was certainly a tough one to take.

The Yellows made it 1-0 in the 82^nd minute and everyone was hopeful that they would see it through to the end, but pure determination from the hosts saw their on-from man Michael Folivi grab the equaliser in the 90^th minute. In the 95^th minute Sholing stole a vital point straight from our grasp with a powerful header from Max Bustamante MacAire – a disappointing finish for us.

Nevertheless, Parkway still put in a shift that game and the scoreline doesn’t represent the performances they have been giving, so an upset against Gloucester is on the cards for sure. The Yellows have only lost one in their last five, which was the recent match against Sholing, but let’s believe they can put that past them. They do still sit in 20^th and are seemingly struggling to claw their way out of that relegation zone, but form has picked up as of late, so hopefully they can change that in the coming weeks.

Gloucester sit in third place and have had a great season so far having won 11 games, drawn six and lost only two, and they are in the battle for the title right now, so they are a tough team to beat. They have, however, conceded in all their last five games, and in our previous meeting with them, we put two past them, so this game could be absolutely riddled with goals.

Hopefully the lads in yellow can pull something out of the bag and gift us an early present with three points over The Tigers.
