The club are delighted to announce that captain Shane White has committed his future to Plymouth Parkway for the 2025/26 season.

Shane joined Parkway in September 2023 on a free transfer from Truro City and has been an integral cog in our defensive line.

Speaking on his renewal the skipper said: “I’m really pleased to sign one more year here.”

“I’m extremely happy at Parkway. We need to now focus on staying up, which I’m confident we can achieve, and then look to build and really kick on for next season.”

Following on from the news of Taylor Scarff also committing to Parkway, the skipper added: “I’ve really enjoyed playing with Tay this season , and I think we compliment each other well and I’m sure we will get better and better together.”

Manager McPhee added: “Shane has been a terrific captain and leader.”

“He leads by example on the pitch and really helps the younger lads. His experience and calmness has been pivotal for us playing out from the back and moving the ball with variety and quality.

“Shane also has been as reliable from the spot this season as he has been as a defender. He and Taylor have built a great partnership, and we are so pleased our skipper has also extended his stay through the end of the 2025/26 season.

“It’s great news to have the skipper signed up.”

Speaking on Shane’s extension, the board said: “Getting Shane to agree to a contract extension gives us stability on and off the field.”

“Shane is a great leader for the team and has been an ever present for us this season.

“He seems to be really enjoying his football this season under the new manager and it’s great to see Shane’s family regularly at games.

“We look forward to Shane continuing to help lead the team.”
