Thank you, Deano

Tom Dean Recalled

By Jack Hobbs

The club can confirm that Tom Dean has been recalled by his parent club Exeter City.

The 19-year-old joined Parkway on an initial three-month loan, alongside fellow Exeter youngster Mitch Beardmore, back in August.

Playing in a variety of positions but predominantly at right fullback, Dean’s performances in a yellow shirt have shown maturity beyond his age which resulted in his loan spell being extended in January.

Chipping in with four league goals and 16 assists in all competitions, Dean has been a real asset to Chris McPhee’s side this season at both ends of the pitch.

Speaking on the youngsters move back to Exeter, McPhee said: “Tom has been recalled by Exeter City for the last few weeks of the season where he will work with the first team, and we hope he gets an opportunity to make his league debut in the closing fixtures of the season.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to Deano for his efforts in a Parkway shirt and for his attitude and application during his time with us.

“He’s provided some big performances for us this season and some key goals and assists throughout. We wish Deano the very best for the future.”

Everyone at Plymouth Parkway would like to echo Chris’ words in wishing Tom all the best for the remainder of the season and for his future career at Exeter City.
