Parkway have another tough task on their hands as they are set to face Dorchester Town at Bolitho Park.

The lads are following on from a brilliant game against league leaders Merthyr which ended with each team taking a point from a 2-2 scoreline.

It was a great day on the road in the end, but it started off poorly as just a few minutes into the game Kane Simpson put the hosts ahead through a great team goal. As the end of the first half approached, The Yellows were awarded a penalty which Shane White put away – 1-1.

In the 56^th minute Merthyr took the lead through Kane Simpson again, which was once again another quality team goal. Plymouth didn’t give up though, as in the 81^st minute, they equalised and it was brilliant long-range strike from Kieran Wilson – what a day.

Now with Dorchester on the horizon, let’s see how both teams are doing as of late. The Yellows currently sit in 16^th, and they aren’t in great form as they have three defeats, one draw and one win in their last five, but they are still putting in a shift every game that’s for sure, which is proved by the performance against The Martyrs. They have only scored five in their recent games, which isn’t good as they usually score a lot more, and to make matters worse, they have conceded ten.

Dorchester sit in 4^th place and are in excellent form themselves as they haven’t lost in the league since November last year, but just like Merthyr, they have started drawing a lot of their matches in recent weeks, so maybe the lads can get something out of this one too. They have only conceded three in their last five, so getting through their defence is going to be tough, and they have scored seven in those games – slightly better than Parkway.

The head-to-head is even, as the last five games has seen Plymouth win two, Dorchester win two, and one draw, so can The Yellows cause a slight upset this weekend?
