We are thrilled to announce the signing of striker Reece Thompson from Helston Athletic.

The former Parkway man returns to Bolitho having departed the club in the summer of 2024 and has scored 14 goals in all competitions for Helston this season.

“I’m really excited for this new challenge and looking forward to getting started”, said Thompson.

“I just want to say on a personal note a massive thank you to Helston. They have helped me immensely over the season and a big thank you to Matt Cusack who has developed me into the player I am now.”

Having lost star forward Mitchel Beardmore following the completion of his loan deal, a striker has been high on Chris McPhee’s transfer wish list.

McPhee said: “It’s great to have Reece back with us at Parkway.”

“He has many strong attributes we believe will fit our style of play. Having Reece back will give us a different dimension and increase our fire power for sure.

“He is strong, can link, stretch play, and he arrives in the box in good areas. We believe the way we play will provide him with opportunities to score and he will help us progress up the pitch as well as hunt the ball.

“We are extremely pleased Reece has returned to the Bolitho and we can’t wait for him to get cracking.”

The board added: “Bringing Reece back to the club now is really important for the team.”
