We are delighted to announce that James Watts-Barciela has signed a contract with the club until the end of the 2025/26 season!

Speaking on signing a contract with the club, the winger said: “I’m delighted to have signed a contract at a great club like Parkway!

“I can’t wait to see what the future holds, and I hope to keep developing here!”

Joining Parkway in the summer, Watts-Barciela has enjoyed a breakthrough season in Yellow and has proven his importance to Chris McPhee’s side in the first half of the current campaign.

“James has had something of a breakthrough season at this level”, said McPhee.

“His energy and appetite for the game excited us and many of the fans. He has made impacts throughout the season and clearly has a great deal of talent and potential.

“He is still learning and adjusting to a more tactical base playing style, but he has proved his quality, and we are delighted to have agreed a contract with James through to the end of the 2025/26 season.”

The board added: “Agreeing a contract with James was an easy option for the club as we can see him progressing in the future due to his exciting play style.”

“James joined the club at the beginning of the season as a young player and although he still has lots to learn, we can all see his improvement over the season.

“He is ever present at training and always listens to the coaching team to improve himself. He has already become a fans favourite.”
