Frome Town vs Plymouth Parkway
Southern Premier League South
Badgers Hill
Thursday 26th December
3pm Kick-off

Parkway are set to hit the road and face Frome Town on Boxing Day for another festive fixture where they will be hoping to carry over the momentum from their 6-0 victory over Gloucester.

The Yellows put in one of their best performances of the season to get all three points against The Tigers. They didn’t just get the win; they got it through a demolition job which saw star player Mitch Beardmore score all six goals – what an effort from him and the lads.

From one end of the table to the other though, The Robins are next up, and the Yellows should be heading into this game with all the confidence in the world. They have only lost one game in their last five and have managed to score 14 goals over those games. When looking at the table, The Yellows have an extra match to play compared to a couple of the teams above, so a win on Thursday would see them get ever so close to that desired safe zone.

Despite sitting in 21st, Frome Town have seemingly found some form as of late, with their last two matches being 2-0 and 3-0 wins over Hanwell Town and Swindon Supermarine. Just like us, they are fighting to stay in this league, and we know how tough relegation games can be, so don’t expect this match to be a walk in the park.

Parkway have a long run of games coming up with not much rest, so let’s get behind the lads and help them grab as many points as possible.
