In an exciting development for Plymouth Parkway fans, the club has announced the signing of promising defender Taylor Scarff, who will officially join the team on July 1. This move follows the recent announcement of experienced midfielder Ryan Brett’s agreement to join the club, marking a significant strengthening of the squad ahead of the new season.
Scarff, joining from local side Tavistock, brings a wealth of potential and skill to Parkway’s defensive lineup. The youngster is set to transition into a new league under the guidance of new manager Chris McPhee, who will no doubt look to harness Scarff’s abilities to bolster the team’s performance.
The 23-year-old center-back has had a remarkable week, returning from international duty with the British Virgin Islands to undertake media duties with his new club. Scarff has represented the BVI seven times, facing opponents such as Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and Antigua. Before his stint at Tavistock, Taylor had spells with the Liverpool and Yeovil academies, adding depth to his footballing experience and skill set.
Parkway is delighted to offer Taylor Scarff his next challenge at the Southern Premier South level. The club and its supporters extend a warm welcome to Taylor and wish him every success as he prepares for the upcoming season.
